چکیده

Severe and moderate osteoporosis is a common disease in the world. It considered silent that has no clear signs. The current study aimed to evaluate correlation between Parathyroid Hormone-related Protein (PTHrP) with Vitamin D Bind protein(VDBP) Osteoporosis Osteopenia patients AL-Najaf city /Iraq. To succeed desired goal, 100 (50 50 Osteoporosis) participated this study, on other hand, fifty healthy individuals were selected as control group. Serum hormone-related protein (PTHrP), hormone (PTH), (VDBP) evaluated using Elisa technique. was unique proving Positive parathyroid patients. inverse T-score. In addition, results indicated there significant decrease levels of compared

Parathyroid hormone-related protein (PTHrP) mRNA splicing and parathyroid hormone/PTHrP receptor mRNA expression in human placenta and fetal membranes.

During human pregnancy, parathyroid hormone-related protein (PTHrP) and parathyroid hormone (PTH)/PTHrP receptor are produced by the uterus, placenta, fetal membranes (amnion and chorion) and developing fetus. PTHrP alternative 3' mRNA splicing results in transcripts which encode three PTHrP isoforms and have been identified in amnion. Uteroplacental PTHrP expression is greatest in amnion and i...

The Association between Depression and Vitamin D and Parathyroid Hormone Levels in Adolescents

Background Depression, a challenging disorder, affects 1–6% of adolescents and early onset often predicts more serious manifestations in later life. Elevated Parathyroid hormone (PTH), parathormone levels have reported among adults with depression. In this study, the roles of 25(OH) D (vitamin D) and parathormone during adolescence, in which the frequency of depression is high, were studied. Ma...

Parathyroid Hormone-Related Peptide and Vitamin D in Phosphocalcic Metabolism for Dromedary Camel

In mammals, phosphocalcic and bone metabolisms are mainly regulated by parathyroid hormone, parathyroid hormone-related peptide (PTHrP) and 1α,25-dihydroxyvitamin D or calcitriol. In camels, circulating levels of calcitriol are 10 times higher than those determined in other ruminants and further increase during early lactation. Calcitriol and parathyroid-related peptide stimulate intestinal abs...

The Role of Parathyroid Hormone-Related Protein (PTHrP) in Osteoblast Response to Microgravity: Mechanistic Implications for Osteoporosis Development

Prolonged skeletal unloading through bedrest results in bone loss similar to that observed in elderly osteoporotic patients, but with an accelerated timeframe. This rapid effect on weight-bearing bones is also observed in astronauts who can lose up to 2% of their bone mass per month spent in Space. Despite the important implications for Spaceflight travelers and bedridden patients, the exact me...

Expression of parathyroid hormone-related protein and the parathyroid hormone/parathyroid hormone-related protein receptor in rat thymic epithelial cells.

Thymic epithelial cells are an important source of cytokines and other regulatory peptides which guide thymocyte proliferation and maturation. Parathyroid hormone-related protein (PTHrP), a cytokine-like peptide, has been reported to affect the proliferation of lymphocytes in vitro. The studies presented here were undertaken to test the hypotheses that PTHrP is produced locally within the thymu...
